Prince Charles is allegedly unhappy about the limited amount of time he spends with his grandson Prince George.
The reports came as Prince George attended his first Aston Villa match with parents Prince William and Kate Middleton.
A 2015 report by The Daily Star has resurfaced, which claims that the Prince of Wales would have liked to be in Prince George’s life more often in his toddler years.
The report reads: “The heir to the throne has apparently moaned to his friends about how little he sees his grandson.
“Charles believes Kate’s mum, Carole Middleton has taken over.
“And he is said to have blamed ‘the March of the Middletons’ for his exclusion.”
The reports quote a source as saying: “Charles has complained to his friends: ‘They never let me see my grandson.’
“Carole has rather taken over.
“She dictates when George naps, when and what he wants.
“All in all, behaving like she’s Queen Carole.”
A spokesman for Prince Charles – who shared Prince Harry and Prince William with the late Princess Diana – refused to state when the Prince had last seen his grandson at the time.
“We could not comment on the specifics of private arrangements,” the representative said.
According to Express, the last time Prince George was pictured with his grandfather was in June, on the balcony of Buckingham Palace during Trooping the Colour.
However, Kate’s parents regularly mind Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis when their parents attend royal events.
When the Duchess of Cambridge attended the women’s final match at Wimbledon in July, Prince George and Princess Charlotte were spotted enjoying a local festival with their grandparents Michael and Carole Middleton.
Michael and Carole also babysat the royal children in August, while William and Kate competed in the King’s Cup regatta at Cowes, Isle of Wight.
In other news, there’s been a lot of speculation that the Duchess of Cambridge is set to announce her fourth pregnancy any day now.
Now, with rumours that William and Kate are set to upgrade to a bigger home within the Kensington Palace property, it looks like this might be the proof we’ve been waiting for that Kate has another baby on board.
Late last week, removal trucks were noticed outside Apartment 1 in the Kensington Palace complex – the abode next door to the Cambridges’ home, Apartment 1A. Since 1972, the Queen’s cousin, Prince Richard, and his wife have been living in the huge 21-room residence.

The Duke of Cambridge fuelled the pregnancy rumours earlier this week, too, when he was seen on his way to church in Scotland with the Queen.
The pair’s presence – along with an absence of Catherine – sparked talk Wills was at Balmoral Castle to share the exciting news with his grandmother before it became public knowledge, as is the tradition.
