Meghan’s co-star Wendell Pierce, who stared as her father in the series, reflect to Extra on how things changed for the Suits cast and crew upon learning of Meghan’s new royal relationship with Prince Harry.

“She is really wonderful. I actually didn’t think it was real, then all of a sudden I turn around and there is a guy from MI5 on set every day,” said Pierce to Extra on September 4.

The 54-year-old actor added, “The one thing that was clear [was that] she was extremely happy. She had a glow. I knew she was in love. With the whirlwind of publicity and the world of being a royal now, the one thing that’s constant is the fact that I know she loves him.”

After Meghan began dating Harry in the summer of 2016, she began to receive special attention on set. A source told US Weekly, “Information was leaking out of Suits like crazy. As soon as it came out that they were dating, everyone was warned to stop talking or they would get fired.”

The source also said that Meghan’s name was taken off series’ schedules to protect her and that, “It arguably boils down to security issues.”
