Meghan Markle is said to make staff ‘recoil’ when talking about feminist issues according to royal expert Ingrid Seward.
“I don’t think the Royal Family are ready for any feminist comments at all,” she told Yahoo’s Royal Box.
“Some of the more old-fashioned courtiers recoil when they see some of the things that Meghan says.”
Ms Seward went onto say some courtiers fear they might get into trouble.
“It’s likely they feel they might get into trouble because she might be putting her feet into the political abyss,” she says.
“The Royal Family don’t talk about politics because they don’t want to get criticised for that.”
