The countdown for the royal baby is well and truly here with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle expected to welcome their first child together any day now.
But, the couple have still remained tight lipped about where the Duchess of Sussex is set to welcome the new royal tot.
There has been speculation that Meghan is considering following in the Queen’s footsteps and having a water birth.
But, royal commentator Angela Mollard has revealed that she thinks Meghan has taken some advice from her pal Amal Clooney.
“The latest suggestion is that she is going to give birth at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, which actually, I went to when I was first pregnant because I was living in London at the time,” Angela reveals on the podcast New Idea Royals.
“The reason this is being speculated is because Amal and George Clooney had their twins there and it was an amazing experience and it all went very smoothly.”
While, Meghan is sure to be looking to her A-list pal for plenty of parenting advice, there is also another reason she likes he hospital.
“The other reason is that they have a lot of female obstetricians and gynaecologists at that hospital,” reveals Ange.
“Look it could be the case. With Meghan, you could imagine she would possibly opt for a female practitioner.”
However, it appears we will just have to wait and see as the couple remain tight lipped on their birth plans.
“It’s interesting in the past we have known what was going to happen with various royal mums but not in this case,” says Ange.
