Carole Middleton SLAMMED for selling this zombie princess Halloween costume

A friend of Diana's has come for Kate's mum!

Kate Middleton’s mother, Carole Middleton, has come under fire for selling a zombie princess Halloween costume on the Middleton’s party supplies website, Party Pieces

Simone Simmons is a close friend of the late Princess Diana and has taken offence to the design of the zombie princess costume. Speaking to the Daily Star, Simmons said, “This is sicker than sick. This is really scraping the barrel. It’s twisted and warped.”

The costume in question consisted of a ragged dress coated in fake blood with an image on the chest that displayed an exposed rib cage and organs.

The official description of the Halloween costume from the website read: “This not so pretty princess costume features a blood-drenched pink silky dress with a jagged skirt. The top includes a gruesome print of the poor zombie princess’ rib cage and organs.”

It appears that the costume was not referencing Princess Diana’s death, as Simmons was implying.

The zombie princess costume is just one of the many zombified costumes listed on the website under the brand new Halloween section. Due to the backlash, the costume has been removed.

The zombie princess costume is also no stranger to numerous other costume sites with Smiffy, Amazon, and Fancy Dress Hub also selling variations of the seemingly popular costume choice.

The Party Pieces site was established in 1987 by Carole Middleton, over a decade before Kate Middleton met Prince William.
