The upcoming wedding is set to be “very different” from the two held last year, with the royal nuptials reportedly not being televised. A royal source has also confirmed that the wedding would be for friends and family only.

The wedding being private and non-televised is very different from the public marriages of the Harry and Meghan, and Eugenie and Jack. Both couples in 2018 had their weddings televised for millions of fans across the globe to watch.

A Buckingham Palace spokeswoman has confirmed the venue stating that Frogmore has “personal resonance” for the couple.

It is assumed that she is referring to Lady Gabriella spending many Christmas holidays at Windsor and that her grandparents, the late Duke and Duchess of Kent, being buried at Frogmore.

Although it is unlikely that there will be any carriage procession or that members of the public will be invited into the grounds of the chapel, it is expected that high profile members of the royal family will attend the wedding.
