Despite Liam Cooper, the show’s first openly bisexual groom, being nervous as to how Georgia Fairweather would react to his sexuality, the 29-year-old was soon put at ease once his on-screen bride gave the response he was hoping for.
“Honestly I so believe that whatever things you did before, it all led you to be here and the person you are. As long as you’re the person for me,” Georgia told her husband after he asked if she had a problem with his sexuality.
From there, the couple were committed to one another, Liam even stating that marriage was “only once” for him and he would fight for their relationship.
However, after country-boy Liam reduced city-girl Georgia to tears when he told her his friends wouldn’t like her, the longevity of their relationship was brought into question.

Sure enough, the two didn’t last.
While Liam originally decided to stay with Georgia, after hearing his bride’s final vows – in which she called him out for making her cry – he promptly changed his mind and stormed out.

After a video was leaked in which Georgia could be seen laughing as fellow contestant Jason called her groom Liam “ugly”, “chubby” and a “full-blown homosexual”, it was clear that she and Liam were not on good terms.
Now, new details have emerged regarding the pair’s messy split.
During Wednesday night’s reunion episode, the experts were shocked to see Liam completely snub Georgia when entering the party. The country boy didn’t greet his former wife and called her “fake” later on in the night.
However, Liam has since revealed that what we saw on screen isn’t actually what happened.
In a leaked Snapchat video from So Dramatic!, Liam dished on what actually went down between him and Georgia.
“How in God’s name are you guys covering this edit up?” the groom said.
He went on to explain that he ignored Georgia because of her involvement in, what he deemed, “that video”. The 29-year-old also claimed that, while not shown on screen, the start of the dinner party involved him and his fellow contestants questioning Jason and Georgia about the video.
“I pulled Georgia up on this video… Georgia sat there and said she was sorry. And then I said to her, ‘now you’re only sorry, because you’ve been caught out.'” The groom also described Jason as looking “smug” throughout it all.
“I would never ever diss the editing, but to sit there and not show me walk into the reunion and ignore Jason straight up, and then walk around and then ignore Georgia because of the video… that is f**ked on so many levels.”
Well, it looks like there’s no love lost between Liam and Georgia.
