The controversial star has gone MIA.

At breaking point, Married At First Sight reality stars have been forced to hold secret meetings, where they’ve spent weeks plotting revenge in a twist no-one saw coming.

After the show was sabotaged with fake couple swaps and explosive story leaks, they plan to take back control and beat TV executives at their own game.

Slamming the show as ‘trash’, cast members and their loved ones are also boycotting screenings because of the ‘highly edited’ version that’s gone to air, a move they say producers should be ‘ashamed of.’

‘We are refusing to watch it,’ Davina’s mum Barb tells New Idea. ‘It’s absolute trash and it makes us all so angry to see how it’s been played out.’

Confirming that her controversial daughter hadn’t even applied for the reality dating series, the glamorous mum says Davina didn’t court a position on the show.

‘Davina is an outspoken and strong character, don’t get me wrong,’ she admits. ‘But by no means is she manipulative or spiteful. She built a career on empowering women and I’m disgusted with the way she has been portrayed. And they know they’ve gone too far because they offered her a free holiday to take a break from the online abuse and horrendous comments. ‘

But it’s not just Davina left furious by the show’s dramatic storylines, with others claiming they were tricked, forcing them into hiding for fear of public backlash.

Starting a private Facebook group, shocked brides and grooms have been discussing their anger at the producers for their betrayal.

‘Watching the show back has left some of them in tears,’ a source reveals. ‘They hear sentences they said in a completely different situation about someone else, being used out of context to make them look bad. It’s a joke.’

Feeling duped, some contestants have allegedly sought legal advice after being attacked and threatened online by the public.

‘They don’t blame the fans for having the opinions that they do because they have been blown away by what they have watched and how messed up it has all become.’
