A new dad used his son’s birth to prompt a couple celebration as he recruited the newborn to deliver a surprise marriage proposal.
Derrick Mead dressed his newborn son Ryder in a special onesie with the words: ‘Mommy, will you marry my Daddy?’
Ryder also had an engagement ring on his finger.
His mum Susan Medina was thrilled by the proposal and shared photos of the sweet moment on social media.
‘So this happened tonight,’ she wrote.
Oh, and she said ‘yes’!
