A mother has sparked outrage after taking to the internet to ask if there was anything wrong with sleeping naked with her 16-year-old son.
Posing the question on the Quora website, the anonymous mother was faced with an avalanche of backlash.
While some posters called the practice of sleeping naked with her teenage son ‘f***ed up’ and having ‘over-tones of incest’, many others warned it could be seen as child abuse by authorities.
‘If your son were to casually mention to someone (friend, teacher, relative) that you and he share a bed and that you also are naked this person could potentially cause a LOT of legal issues for you,’ posted one person. ‘You could possibly be arrested for child indecency and put into prison and be forced to register as a sex offender. ‘
Another added: ‘Sleeping NAKED with your pre-teen or teenage son is inappropriate in our society.’
While the authenticity of the question has not been verified, it clearly hit a nerve with the users of the site and has been viewed over 500,000 times.
