Police have swarmed the Hollywood mansion of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie within hours of the divorce news breaking, sparking renewed concerns. The family is already under a harsh spotlight after Angelina’s reps stated she’s split for ‘the health of her family.’
The $5 million Jolie-Pitt home was placed on a high-priority list for local police patrols, confirm law enforcement sources, as gossip about the nature of the split gathered pace and a deluge of fans descended on the site.
‘We were up there providing extra security for the family and the neighborhood,’ LAPD Public Information Officer Tony Im told RadarOnline of the increased police presence.
The beef up in security comes after TMZ reports Brad is ‘furious’ at Ange for allegedly putting their six kids – Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara 11, Shiloh,10, and twins Vivienne and Knox, eight – ‘at risk’ for ‘calling out Brad as a bad dad’.
A source tells the site that despite Brad’s pleas to Ange to keep the split out of the spotlight for the safety of the kids, by filing for divorce in such a potentially inflammatory way, the actress has now ‘unleashed hell’.
