William Tyrrell’s biological grandmother has slammed social workers for placing the toddler in foster care.
Media was previously forbidden from announcing that William was in foster care at the time of his disappearance after Family and Community Services took him from his parents.
His grandmother admits ‘there were rows’ and ‘drinking problems’ between William’s parents, but that he was very loved and cared for.
‘That little boy was my life, we all adored him, he was a beautiful innocent little boy,’ she says, reports news.com.au.
‘It’s ripped our family apart, we’ll never be the same no William has gone. I think about him every day, and my son does.’
