Spotlight DIY Spring Racing Millinery Instructions
Materials
- Satin covered headband: Blush $9.99
- Small boater hat: Natural $39.99
- Fabric Flower: Large Blush $14.99
- Fabric Flower: Small Blush $14.99
- Shamrock craft deco foam lady head white $19.99
- Needle and matching blush coloured thread
- Scissors
Instructions:
Step 1 – Place the headband on the deco foam head and experiment with the placement of the boater hat to decide on the position you want the hat to sit on your head.
Step 2 – Once you have decided on an angle use a pencil to mark where the edges of the hat meet the headband.
Step 3 – Use a needle and thread to stitch the hat to the headband.
Step 4 – Place the headband with hat onto the deco foam head and play with the fabric flowers to decide on the best positions. Use a needle and thread or a hot glue gun to glue the flowers in place on the headband to finish.
