Traditional Cuban Style Dress A beautiful blend of cultures

While the Spanish culture has been the biggest influence on Cuba’s traditional clothing – with Africa to it’s east – the zest of this heritage is also evident. None more so than in the colourful head wraps and bandanas worn by Cuban women.

Men keep their outfits simple. Owing to the warm climate, the classic staple of male fashion is a lightweight ‘Cuban Collar’ cotton shirt, often in white. The Cuban Collar shirt is an absolute classic. Popularised in the 1950s, it is a classy retro look that when topped off with a fedora is extremely smart looking.
