It’s official: A McLeod’s Daughters reunion is on the horizon!
After a few of the stars took to Twitter to tease that a reboot may be in the works, a Channel Nine rep has since confirmed it’s indeed being considered by the network.
“We are talking to [creator] Posie Graeme Evans about how we could tackle it,” the rep told The Daily Telegraph.
“We know how much everybody loves McLeod’s Daughters, it’s an important part of our heritage.”
To celebrate the possibility of the show returning to TV screens, we’re taking a look back at what some of the cast are up to now.
Lisa Chappell
Lisa Chappell played one of McLeod’s Daughter’s most-loved characters, Claire McLeod, before her character was killed off in 2003.
After leaving the show, the two-time Logie winner released an album entitled What Is Then Is Now, and has since been cast in numerous films and TV shows including Stingers, Rescue: Special Ops and Coffin Rock.
Most recently, the now 48-year-old appeared in Netflix docuseries Roman Empire: Reign of Blood.
Bridie Carter
She shot to fame as Jack McLeod’s third daughter, Tess, and remained in the role until 2006.
Since her departure, the 46-year-old has featured in several Australian TV series, including Wild Boys, Rescue: Special Ops and the hit NZ show 800 Words.
Rachael Carpani
Rachael played took on the character of Jodi, the youngest McLeod sibling, until 2007.
Since then, 36-year-old has enjoyed a successful acting career and has appeared in a handful of feature films, including Hating Alison Ashley starring Delta Goodrem, and Triangle, alongside Hollywood heartthrob Liam Hemsworth.
Simmone Jade Mackinnon
As one of the longest running characters in McLeod’s Daughters, Simmone played Drover’s Run part owner Stevie Hall up until the show’s finale in 2009.
Later, the 44-year-old appeared in The Cut, Cops L.A.C and hosted Random Acts of Kindness with Karl Stefanovic.
Neighbours fans may recall that she briefly starred on the soap in 2012 in the role of Zoe Alexander.
Michala Banas
In 2004, Michaela Banas joined the cast as Jodi’s best friend, Kate Manfredi.
After taking a short hiatus from filming, the 38-year-old New-Zealand born beauty rejoined the show and stayed until it’s final season.
Following this, she played the character of Libby Kennedy on Neighbours before turning to a temporary radio gig with The Matt and Jo Show.
Since the show wrapped she has also enjoyed roles in Winners and Losers, ABC’s Nowhere Boys and also starred in the comedy series Upper Middle Bogan.
