Caitlyn Jenner has finally undergone genital surgery, a big step in her two year transition from male to female, RadarOnline.com reveals.
Further information is detailed in the reality TV stars new memoir, The Secrets of My Life, where she claims she had the “Final Surgery” in January 2017.
‘The surgery was a success, I feel not only wonderful but liberated,’ Caitlyn writes, in her new memoir, out April 25. ‘I am telling you because I believe in candor so all of you can stop staring. You want to know, so now you know. Which is why this is the first time, and the last time, I will ever speak of it.’
The 67-year-old gold medallist writes that it was a “complex decision” to have the surgery – largely due to the health risks associated with the operation.
‘So why even consider it? Because it’s just a penis. It has no special gifts or use for me other than what I have said before, the ability to take a whiz in the woods,’ the former I Am Cait star explains. ‘I just want to have all the parts. I am also tired of tucking the damn thing in all the time.’
This new surgery comes after Caitlyn underwent a breast augmentation and facial feminization surgery on March 15,2015, in order to become Caitlyn.
‘I am going to live authentically for the first time in my life,’ she recalls, ‘I am going to have an enthusiasm for life that I have not had in 39 years since the Olympics, almost two thirds of my life.’
It has been reported that Caitlyn earnt $4 million for her new book.
