They’re the lovable larrikins who amazed fans with their design savvy, despite being reno rookies.
However, all their hard work could come undone with the finish line in sight, thanks to a medical emergency.
‘In the last week, my back flared up,’ 25-year-old Ben tells New Idea. ‘I’ve had a bad back since I was 16. I thought I’d get through the whole thing, but I got to the final week and it flared up a bit. I had to style the room in the last week — usually Andy styled.’
The injury sent poor Andy, 25, into a tailspin just as the best mates were finally hitting their design stride — the grand prize within reach.
