After weeks of romance and roses, former news reporter Georgia Love finally confessed her feelings for Lee Elliot.
In the epic final episode of the Channel Ten series, filmed in Singapore, the brunette beauty made the difficult choice which has the nation up in arms.
Following Nikki Gogan’s shock elimination in The Bachelor, fans were hoping favourite Matty Johnson wouldn’t be sent home, however, Georgia ultimately chose Lee.
‘I came here to fall in love and I have but it’s with someone else,’ she told Matty.
An emotional Matty responded: ‘I’m absolutely devastated.’
In the end, early favourite Lee, 35, was the man Georgia fell in love with.
The Melbourne-based lad confessed his feelings for the first time during the couple’s final date.
‘I have completely fallen in love with you,’ he said.
And luckily for Lee, Georgia felt the same way.
‘I love you so much,’ she gushed.
However, it wasn’t a love-fest when Georgia’s father Chris and sister Katie met Lee.
Katie didn’t think the blonde hunk was being genuine with her older sister.
Meanwhile, Georgia’s mum – who has cancer – wasn’t able to travel to Singapore due to her deteriorating health.
‘I just hope though that you find somebody that you find someone that treats you the way you deserve to be treated,’ she said in a video message.
‘Think with your head and your heart.’
