In episode 11 of The Bachelor, feelings are intensifying, connections are building and spending alone time with Nick is high on everyone’s list.
Brittany announces the single date and shock horror, ‘stage five clinger’ Cass finally gets her one-on-one time with Nick!
Much excitement ensues and a look appears on her face as if she’s about to book the wedding venue, order the dress and buy some baby clothes.
“I can’t believe it I’m so happy,” Cass gushes.
“I know Cass will be excited today…I just wanna know is it just fun or can we progress?” Nick tells the camera.
Nick takes her to Wet and Wild Water Park. On the way, he mumbles some words to her on the bus and Cass can’t stop giggling and telling him how excited she is.
First, they decide to embark on the Sky Coaster despite both being scared of heights.
The pair get into their harnesses, Cass is worried about throwing up.
Lots of screaming happens as they are catapulted into the air, but Cass loves it and sees it as a great bonding experience.
Next up is the water slides. ‘I can’t wait to get wet with him,’ coos Cass. The young blonde can’t stop glaring at his rippling at his muscles.
At one stage he lands on top of her, she’s hoping for kiss, but alas, nothing happens.
As the evening falls, Cass is aiming for some serious tonsil hockey as they sit down for some drinks.
Cass admits her feelings have grown even more (can they?) and she needs to know if he’s feeling the same.
“To be honest… I find it hard… umm… yeah you have a glow about ya…you wouldn’t hurt a fly. You’re a really nice girl. You’re an honest, kind girl…’
He struggles to get the words out but finally, after much mumbling from Nick’s part, she gets a rose and they have that long awaited kiss.
Cass is beside herself. But she’s worried about how invested she is in Nick. Nick appears confused.
Next up is a group date at Glenworth Valley obstacle course and Osher enlists the help of transformation coach Natalie to help the girls delve deep and release any burdens that might be stopping them from finding love.
There’s backpacks and metaphorical emotional baggage involved.
Jamie quickly declines as she feels her foot injury will impede the physical activities. We have no idea what the producers were thinking.
The group then heads onto the obstacle course and the girls get involved with lots of mud and Nick finds it all ‘super attractive’.
They then sit all by the campfire and confess what emotional baggage they’ve been carrying that’s holding them back from finding love. Nick admits he struggles with expressing his emotion. We’re inclined to agree.
He then chooses Dasha to spend some one on one time with. They sit by a warm fire and Nick can’t talking about how great Dasha looked in the mud. ‘She’s just banging,’ admits Nick to camera frothing at the mouth.
Dasha can’t stop fondling his hair but Nick finds her presence a bit ‘weird’ and he’s not sure if still feels the same way about her when they first had their single date.
They stare at each other for a while, umm and err and there’s no kiss.
She leaves the date without a rose. It’s all a bit strange.
Next up is the rose ceremony and Osher gives us another important maths announcement. ‘Ladies there are 7 of you left and Nick only has six to give.’
Shannon is first. Brooke next. Brittany follows. Then Sophie, followed by Dasha and Emily.
The intruder Jamie Lee is finally sent home. So long Jamie, looks like you shot yourself in the foot…
