Wholesome conservation icon Terri Irwin has been left in a ‘state of shock’ after discovering her name and image are being used to promote a grotty porn website on the Internet.
Pushing a sex site on a popular social media platform Instagram, the porn merchant is going by the name Terri Irwin and uses a stolen photo of the popular mum to direct users to a disgusting site.
The bogus owner’s biographical information includes the details, ‘Widow mom of bindi [sic],’ as well as some eyebrow-raising content not suitable for family reading.
‘Terri’s still in shock,’ says an Australia Zoo source. ‘She really doesn’t understand why her – a 52-year-old mother-of-two – would be even worth impersonating in such a vulgar way.
‘She’s devastated her name’s been used to link to a porn site – it’s so humiliating. Whoever the impersonator is has a link to the most horrific X-rated porn site.’
Terri is believed to now be looking into action to have Instagram remove the account.
‘She’s really got no choice but to try and fix this, but she has no idea where to start. It’s totally distressing for her and it’s upset everyone in the family.’
