Shay Mitchell shared exciting baby news last week, welcoming her first daughter with boyfriend Matte Babel into the world.

However, people weren’t impressed with the new-mum after she left her daughter at home while she and 39-year-old Babel partied at Drake’s 33rd birthday party.
Taking to her social media on the night, 32-year-old Mitchell let her hair down while partying among other celebrities.
“Parents,” she wrote as the caption of her and Babel.
“I understand parents need a night out once in a while, but days after giving birth??” one person wrote.
Other fans took Mitchell and Babel’s side in the debate.
“Man some of the people in this comment sections are SO judgmental and are being rude,” they wrote.
“She wanted to have one night to celebrate Drake’s birthday. She felt comfortable having HER daughter watched by a nanny or family member so that she could go out with her husband. Newsflash many moms are around the first week or so to help out so that we can rest or do things.”
Neither Shay or Matte responded to the negative criticism online, instead, the Pretty Little Liars actress showed off some adorable newborn baby sneakers on her Instagram Story, unbothered by the hate.
The new parents introduced their daughter, whose name has yet to be revealed, on Sunday 20th of October.
