Tom Cruise was last seen publicly with his daughter Suri, 13, when she was seven years old.
However, since his divorce from her mother Katie Holmes the father and daughter are rumoured to be estranged from one another. But according to sources, Tom, a devout Scientologist, says he’s ready to make some changes with his relationship with Suri.

“I think enough time has passed now that the sting of Katie leaving him has dissipated,” the insider tells American magazine In Touch.
“It’s just time. It was heartbreaking and humiliating for Tom when Katie left him. He must have felt lied to.”
According to the publication Tom “recently sent a message to Katie”.
“Tom made it clear he intends to see Suri again. Something seems to have shifted in Tom’s world.”
Despite Tom having 10 days a month to see Suri, insiders say that to date, the actor has not taken up the opportunity to bond with his daughter and Katie is considered a “suppressive person” at odds with the Church of Scientology.
But now, In Touch reports that that Tom is hoping to see his daughter again.
‘There’s his acting world, his religion world and now, hopefully Suri will be part of his life again. I truly believe he wants a relationship with her. At the end of the day Suri only has one father and that’s Tom,’ adds the source.
The reports follow allegation carried in another American publication that Tom’s reported lack of involvement is due to religious teachings.
“Tom’s not allowed spiritual counselling in the church if he has any connection with Katie, so Suri would be collateral damage,” former Scientologist Samantha Domino told National Enquirer.
According to Samantha, Tom may believe that although he does not have a relationship with her now, that he may see her in another lifetime.
