Feisty DJ Christie Jordee thought she had found true love on Married At First Sight with farmer Mark Hughes. But New Idea can exclusively reveal that the love rat was phoning and sending countless flirty text messages to a woman 15 years his junior, just weeks after the show finished airing.
Meeting over Instagram last month, the friendly conversation soon became more intimate, with the lovable larrikin – who couldn’t wait for a future with Christie in the show’s finale – inviting the 22-year-old to his farm, and bombarding her with compliments and referring to her as ‘smokin’.
Initially assuming that things hadn’t worked out between him and Christie, the pretty blonde wasted no time in checking that Mark was now single – but when her questions were ignored, she was left to think the worst.
‘I asked him on numerous occasions whether he was taken or not, and he either ignored the question or just dismissed it on the phone and said: “Why does it matter?”’ she explains.
The young lady now wants to warn Christie before it’s too late.
‘I feel extremely sorry for Christie if they still are in a relationship, and I hope she realises who he really is before it gets any more serious,’ she says.
