Sunday nights episode of Married At First Sight was explosive, to say the least, and ended in one couple opting to leave the social experiment.

After the downright shocking revelation that Dino had not only eavesdropped on wife Melissa’s private conversation, but he had also decided to record her personal chat with her sister, it seemed obvious to everyone that this couple would not make it through the commitment ceremony in one piece.
Following their departure, MAFS bride Melissa has come out to exclaim that not only did she and Dino never click, but that Dino’s ‘peaceful’ persona felt phoney and ‘rehearsed’.
Melissa told 9Honey: “Obviously, we are so different. I never really found out who he was. He wasn’t someone that I could just communicate with or just dance with.
“You really couldn’t even have a conversation with him. I really needed someone that I could communicate with and banter with and just have that kind of connection with.”
Mel revealed that Dino – who has auditioned for other reality TV shows in the past – and his ‘spiritual’ front, felt disingenuous.
“All he wanted to do was talk about and do spiritual things,” the 38-year-old told 9Honey. “He never really was interested in me or anything that I was interested in. I don’t think he was ever interested in being married or being with me.”
Mel ended the interview with this very unsubtle dig at Dino: “I wanted somebody with a sense of humour. That is so ‘me’, everything about me and he just did not have that.
“There was no fun. At one point, I was like, ‘If I was here with a pot plant, I probably would have had a better time.'”
