The Bold and The Beautiful fans have been rocked by a porn scandal, with the revelation that actress Maitland Ward, who played super-popular Jessica Forrester on the hit soap, is now proudly doing porn.
The actress, 42, who is also known for her turns as Rachel McGuire in Boy Meets World, and a part in the film White Chicks, told In Touch Weekly that she’s excited for the acting opportunity involved in sex films.

‘They asked me to be a part of this, and I thought, “I never knew there was anything in adults or porn or whatever that was this well done.”
‘I read the script, and I was like, “This is really, really well-written,”’ she claimed. ‘This has so many themes in this and just my character is so different than anything I have portrayed before.’
The actress claims that doing a porn film has allowed her to ‘set myself free’
‘I don’t think my fans have seen me like this before — really, they haven’t. It’s just very deep sensuality, and I think that is a really fun way to play an explorer, and I got to do things that I wouldn’t have thought in the past. Just these sexual situations that are sort of taboo.’
The work is a far cry from her run as innocent Jessica Forrester in Bold, which she starred in from 1994-1996. Often involved in dramas with her protective aunt Stephanie Forrester, the character is about as far from a porn actress as it’s possible to imagine.
And after this piece of casting, it seems highly unlikely that Maitland will ever be back on Bold.
