Married At First Sight’s Cheryl Maitland’s relationship with her new boyfriend Dean Gibbs is going from strength to strength.
The pair posed in a loved-up photo with their arms affectionately wrapped around one another,
‘Love this one’, Cheryl wrote with a heart-shape emoji.
The 25-year-old made her relationship with Gibb public in March.
Captioning a shot of herself kissing her new man, the hair stylist wrote, ‘And then there was you #thankgodhedidntpullouthisguitar’, making a slight dig at her on-screen love interest Andrew ‘Jonesy’ Jones.
Gibb is a disgraced ex-cop who was convicted for drug trafficking.
He pleaded guilty to five drug-related charges in 2014 including trafficking, cocaine use and possession of steroids and ecstasy.
He was handed a one-year suspended jail sentence in the Melbourne Magistrates Court.
Gibbs’ mother told the Daily Mail that he has worked hard to make up for his past mistakes.
“That is all in the past… he’s moved on from all of that,” she said.
“He has worked very hard to build a new life, he’s got a successful plumbing business and he’s very proud of that,” she said.
