It was a moment in history for Married At First Sight’s Matthew as the 29-year-old virgin announced he lost his virginity with bride Lauren on Tuesday night’s episode.
“Last night I lost my virginity,” Matthew proudly declared.
“It was worth the 29-year wait,” he added.
The moment did not come without its ups and downs.
After Matthew struggled to come to terms with getting intimate with Lauren, his bride suggested they have a spa bath.
But what should have been a romantic occasion ended up with a trip to hospital after Matthew had a panic attack and struggled to breathe.
Lauren handled it like a true trooper and stayed by his side for six hours.
“It was a good bonding experience for Matthew and I,” Lauren said.
Later on, the couple enjoyed a romantic dinner and things led to finally consummating their marriage.
