On Monday night’s episode of Married At First Sight, during their last date together Martha delivers some heartbreaking news to husband Michael.
After arranging a romantic screening, Michael takes Martha to a cosy restaurant where they discuss their future together.
But Martha says something which later Michael says is a ‘bombshell’.

“I feel all these strong feelings, but my problem is when we’re out of the experiment, what is going to happen, we’re not half an hour from each other…” Martha says referring to her Sydney based home and his Melbourne living.
“How is that going to negatively impact us though?” Michael says defensively.
“How is it not?” Martha whines in nasal tones.
Michael begins to get upset and talks about her glass being half empty.
“I’m scared to say too much and promise and…” interjects Martha.
“You’re saying you’re non-committal? I’ve given you everything! You’re focusing on the negative,” snaps Michael.
“The reality is it’s not f-ing fun when you’re not living with your husband!” yells Martha.
“If you’re not confident that we’re not living in the same state, then what are you saying?” whimpers Michael.
“I dunno!” Says Martha.
Michael sighs… “bombshell!” he says shaking his head.
“I do have faith, I do think we will work but it’s easier said than done…” relents Martha.
“After this experiment I’ll prove to you we’ll work…” Michael says hopefully
He then presents her with a shell he picked up on their honeymoon which he has engraved especially.
Martha is delighted. They kiss and makeup. Phew!
