Married At First Sight viewers have been left shocked after smitten single mother-of-two Jo is rejected by her new husband, Sean, as the ceremony is labelled one big ‘car crash.’
After the two complete strangers tied the knot in the second episode of the hit series Married At First Sight, Twitter exploded with opinions on the two newlyweds completely DIFFERENT reactions to one another.
As Jo walked down the aisle, accompanied by her young son, she fell instantly head-over-heels for the bar manager. However, Sean could barely raise a smile after setting sight on his bride.
After the ceremony, Jo giddily said to the camera: ‘My expectations have been met, and then some. To infinity and beyond. Winning! Jackpot! I’ve won the lotto!’
She continued, giggling: ‘The experts have been spot on! He is for me. He couldn’t be anymore perfect’
Sean, on the other hand, couldn’t be less excited.
Speaking privately to a producer, the Adelaide-based groom struggled to explain how he was feeling.
‘Um, ah…I dont think there was um, like, you know, um a massive spark straight away’, he managed to muster.
Twitter couldn’t help but join on the emotional rollercoaster too!
