It’s Australian television’s most prestigious award, and when this year’s list of nominees were announced for the Gold Logie last night a few notable names were missing.
Lisa Wilkinson, Karl Stefanovic, Carrie Bickmore and Waleed Aly were all snubbed in the category.
Lisa had a huge year on TV, sensationally quitting Channel Nine’s Today show after a decade on it’s morning panel and defecting to Channel Ten’s The Project.
Fellow Project panelists Waleed Aly and Carrie Bickmore, were also left off the list this year. However, they’ve both previously won the Gold Logie – Carrie in 2015 and Waleed in 2016.
Karl Stefanovic also missed out on the prestigious nomination list.
The 2018 Gold Logie Award for Best Personality on Australian Television are:
- Jessica Marais
- Tracy Grimshaw
- Grant Denyer
- Andrew Winter
- Rodger Corser
- Amanda Keller
