Aussie singer, Shannon Noll has been cleared of criminal charges over an alleged assault at an Adelaide strip club.
The Adelaide Magistrates Court dropped the charges on Thursday afternoon. Noll did not attend the hearing.
The Australian Idol runner-up was arrested over the assault of a security guard at the Hindley St’s Crazy Horse Revue in January.
Eyewitnesses claimed the singer “got really aggressive, and kept being like ‘I’m Shannon Noll, let me back into the Crazy Horse’, and punched a security guard. Then four policemen pinned him down and took him away in a police car.”
He was charged with one basic count of assault that has now been dropped.
