Kylie Minogue has opened up about coming to terms with the fact her battle with breast cancer ruined her chances of becoming a mother.
The iconic songstress, 50, said that while she has some regrets and sometimes wonders what life could have been like with kids, she has accepted her situation, The Sun reports.
The Australian pop star was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005 at the age of just 36.
Speaking about the diagnosis, Kylie told the Sunday Times Style magazine: “Realistically, you’re getting to the late side of things [at 36]. While that wasn’t on my agenda at the time, it changed everything.
“I don’t want to dwell on it, obviously, but I wonder what that would have been like.
“I can’t say there are no regrets, but it would be very hard for me to move on if I classed that as a regret so I just have to be as philosophical about it as I can.”
Kylie further revealed that at 50, she is now “more at ease” with her life and has reached a point where she accepts her situation and “gets on with it”.
