The Big Bang Theory might be over – see a preview of the final episode below – but star Johnny Galecki, 44, is looking forward to an exciting future, confirming that he and 21-year-old girlfriend Alaina Meyer are expecting a baby boy.

The couple made the announcement at a gender reveal party, with Meyer taking to Instagram to share the news.
‘To all those who voted boy you were right!’ she captioned a photo of the couple.
‘A day I’ll never forget,’ Johnny wrote, who played Leonard on the hit sitcom.
Johnny had earlier indicated during an appearance on chat show The Talk that he had been hoping for a girl.
‘I get a little bored looking exactly the same for nine and a half months every year playing Leonard, so we wrapped and I put some blue in my hair,’ he said.
‘Then I got superstitious that I was like manifesting a boy… when I kinda prefer a girl… don’t play this tape for my child years from now… so I painted my nails pink to kinda even out the energy there.’
It seems that didn’t work!
Johnny famously dated his former Big Bang co-star Kaley Cuoco for two years, before she went on to marry Ryan Sweeting. He went public with his love for Alaina in September.
