Jessica Mauboy has opened up to reveal further details of her recent engagement to her boyfriend of 10 years, Themeli Magripilis.

Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, Jess shared the sweet details of Themeli’s proposal, which she revealed occurred in his hometown of Kalymnos, Greece.
“The love of my life proposed to me in his family’s home town of Kalymnos, Greece on the beach at sunset 🌅 We are so happy 💍” Jess gushed.
“I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with my best friend.
“Thank you for all the love 💖

Jess’s famous friends were quick to comment and congratulate the singer on her special news.

Jess’s Instagram post comes just one day after the star jetted into Sydney airport with her fiance, where she confirmed her engagement to waiting reporters.
“It’s very exciting,” Jessica said of her big news.
“It was a big surprise; it was pretty crazy.”
Asked if she thought the big question might be coming, the singer said she thought it might happen in the future, but not so soon.
“I didn’t expect it at all, that’s for sure,” she said. “In the future, but not so soon.”
And the shock timing of her engagement means she hasn’t made any plans for the big day yet, as she admitted she hadn’t thought about the ceremony at all.
“I haven’t, not quite yet,” she told reporters.
“It’s definitely not something I’m thinking about at the moment.”
