Kristie Alley says becoming a grandmother is one of the best things to have happened in her life.
The 65-year-old actress says she used to be ambivalent about grandchildren but now relishes her time with grandson Waylon, the son of her son William.
‘Being a grandma is in the top three best things that has every happened to me,’ she said. ‘Friends used to show pictures of their grandkids and I’d be like, “yeah, yeah, they’re cut” or “whatever”. Now I’m totally that grandmother.’
Sharing a picture of her grandson on Twitter, Kristie wrote: ‘Wish every child could have a beautiful beloved life.. EVERY child… LOVE solves almost everything.’
