He has been sporting a large amount of facial hair since growing it out for his role as Wolverine.
However Hugh Jackman, 47, has officially said goodbye to his signature long sideburns and beard, posting a video to Instagram on August 22, showing him shaving off all of his facial hair.
‘My wife is going to be very happy. #GoodbyeChops #thedebs,’ he captioned the short clip.
The Australian actor recently wrapped up filming for the series’ final installment, which is set to hit theaters next year.
Jackman announced his retirement from his longtime X-Men character last year, telling comicbook.com, “It just felt like it was the right time to do it.”
‘And let’s be honest, 17 years. I never thought in a million years it would last, so I’m so grateful to the fans for the opportunity of playing it,’ he said. ‘I kind of have in my head what we’re going to do in this last one. It just feels like this is the perfect way to go out.’
