Prince Harry has endured an awkward moment with the Prime Minster of Antigua.
The royal was left ‘red faced’ after Prime Minister Gaston Browne invited Harry to spend his honeymoon with actress Meghan Markle on the Caribbean island.
Breaking an unspoken rule not to mention Harry’s new relationship, Browne told a group of 300 guests: ‘I understand that there may be a new addition to the Royal Family very soon.’
‘I am told that there may be a princess and I just want to say that should you make the decision to honeymoon then Antigua and Barbuda want to welcome you,’ he continued.
Prince Harry confirmed his relationship with the Suits actress last month after he released a statement stating that the media had crossed a line in the treatment of the actress.
Prime Minister Browne later added, ‘I hope that Harry and Meghan come here for some quiet time very soon.’
