He’s spent the past few weeks filming I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in South Africa. But now that Dr Chris Brown has returned home, New Idea understands the hunky vet has reunited with his ex, Liv Phyland, after a temporary break-up.
And they can’t wait to let everyone know their exciting news.
“Distance really put a strain on their relationship,” says a source close to the pair.
“Liv really struggled with it so that’s why she put her foot on the brakes, but Chris is used to travelling and being away from his loved ones so he found being apart much easier.”
Now that Chris is back on home soil, however, friends say it’s clear the pair are still very much head-over-heels for one another.
“As soon as Chris landed in Sydney he went straight over to Liv to sort everything out,” adds our spy.
“And they did – now everything seems to be back on track.”
So much so, that friends say just days after Chris’ return, Liv was already talking about putting all the rumours to rest, hinting they’re finally ready to get hitched and start a family together.
“They’ve been best mates for three years and all this time away only cemented their feelings for one another,” a pal explains.
“Liv definitely doesn’t want to let Chris slip through her fingers again. She wants him to be her husband and the father of her children – she’s ready to take the next step.”
