One of the most popular House Rules couples this season, Claire and Hagan have won the hearts of the nation with their very candid, no-holds-barred approach to conflict on the show.
Living out the back of a shop-turned-hair salon with their two young children, Claire and Hagan’s dreams of tying the knot had all but vanished. But now, since they are in with a shot of taking out the winning title on House Rules and having their mortgage paid off, the fiery pair will do anything to finally make their big day a reality.
‘When we got engaged two years ago, we knew we weren’t in a position to get married anytime soon,’ Claire, 28, tells New Idea.
‘The more time that went on, it made it harder and harder to justify spending money on a wedding! It’s such a great expense and we just don’t have the money right now.’ Hagan, 27, adds: ‘We’d love to get married. We just don’t know when or how…’
