After years of heartbreak and emotional turmoil over the long illness and tragic death of her beloved husband Rene Angelil, no-one could begrudge Celine Dion finding new love and happiness.
Romance rumours are now buzzing for the much-loved singer and her guitarist Kaven Girouard, who has been a constant figure by Celine’s side in recent months. The pair have taken to social media to confirm their close relationship, with Celine describing their bond as ‘intense’.
The surprise public declaration has been met with celebration from Celine’s millions of fans around the world, ecstatic to see the multiple Grammy Award winner finally smile again after several years of heartache – which culminated in 73-year-old Rene’s death in January.
Celine is very aware of the speculation about her relationship with Kaven – and encourages it. That’s why she posted a picture of herself with him onstage and captioned it ‘intense moment’.
