Karl Stefanovic and Jasmine Yarbrough have been inseparable for the past two years. But with his fiancee currently thousands of kilometres away at New York Fashion Week, Karl was spotted enjoying some downtime with another gorgeous lady.
The Today host looked casual as he sauntered the streets of Sydney’s affluent North Shore last week with blonde model Emily Baker by his side.
Exiting his luxury Mosman pad at 1pm, the pair – both clad in casual clothing – made the short walk to the Buena Vista Hotel, where they spent the next three hours chatting as they drank a few beers.
New Zealand-born Emily – who is a top international model – looked at ease with the 44-year-old Nine star during their conversation.
And it’s no surprise that the pair seem so chummy. Emily is the girlfriend of Jasmine’s brother, Josh. Since Karl began his relationship with the 34-year-old shoe designer, he has grown extremely close to the Yarbrough clan.
In April 2017, Karl joined Jasmine in Mexico to celebrate Josh’s 30th birthday – believed to be the first time Karl was introduced to the family. Photos on Facebook showed the couple flanked by Jasmine’s relatives.
Clearly having made a good impression on his lover’s parents, Karl enjoyed a cosy dinner with Bob and Cheryl Yarbrough earlier this year when Jasmine was again in New York.
“With 2 of my 3 boys,” Cheryl captioned a now deleted Instagram snap, followed by the hashtags “#futuresoninlaw #ifhebehaves #hesays.”
Last month Karl shared a pic of him and Emily – who he affectionately called “little sis” – cuddled up while showing off the New Zealand themed present she had gifted him.
“Early birthday present from little sis and New Zealand’s best ambassador to the world @emilymaybaker Kia ora to my whanau in aotearoa,” read the touching caption.
With Jasmine attending fashion shows in New York, generous Karl took some time out to look after Emily.
After drinks, the pair grabbed an Uber back to Karl’s house, where Emily appeared to be staying, as she did not resurface until the next morning when she was spotted leaving.
While Karl no doubt enjoyed his afternoon, he has a busy time ahead as he and Jasmine prepare for what is set to be Australia’s most talked about wedding.
The pair are set to tie the knot in a lavish ceremony in Mexico’s San Jose del Cabo on Dec. 8, after falling in love with the idea when they visited for Josh’s birthday last year.
