The Bachelorette’s Angie Kent has picked her top 4: Timm Hanly, Jackson Garlick, Ryan Anderson and Carlin Sterritt.

TIMM HANLY’S STRUGGLE
Fan favourite Timm is hiding a secret heartache behind his cheeky smile. The contestant found it difficult to be away from his mum Sue.
He was looking forward to introducing Angie to his family but what was meant to be an exciting time for Timm Hanly was shrouded with heartbreak, as New Idea can reveal that his mother Sue was battling cancer while he was filming.
“The whole time Timm was in there he was stressing about how she was doing,” a source says.
Sue was scheduled to have an operation, which involved reconstructing her face, to remove the cancer while Timm was away filming, and wasn’t going to be out of hospital in time for the hometown visits.
“Being busy with filming definitely helped him take his mind off it all, but when the reality of going home actually set in, he was devastated that he wouldn’t be able to introduce Angie to his mother,” a source explains.
However, when Timm arrived home, he was surprised to discover his mum had decided to delay her operation so that she could be home to see him.
“Timm thought his mum would still be in hospital recovering,” a source explains. “So, when he sees her there, he’s absolutely stoked! He couldn’t wait to introduce her to Angie.”
According to the source, Timm’s parents took an instant liking to Angie and they got along well at their home in Terrigal. However, his brother PJ wasn’t such a fan.
“Angie brings up the fact that Timm used to do pig hunting and she expresses her strong feelings towards the topic,”
a source explains.
“Timm’s brother questions if she really likes Timm.”
JACKSON GARLICK’S HEARTBREAK
New Idea can reveal that behind the scenes during home visit week, footy player Jackson Garlick was given the devastating news that his friend had passed away.
“His parents weren’t supposed to tell him about it but his mum pulled him aside and told him during a filming break,” a source reveals.
“He was heartbroken. He had to keep filming and was struggling processing that and trying to put on a brave face. It has a huge impact on his performance at home visits.”
RYAN ANDERSON’S HOOK-UP
He was a last-minute Bachelorette contestant, but these steamy photos suggest Ryan Anderson could be leading the pack in the race to win Angie Kent’s heart.
From the moment he arrived on the show as a surprise ‘intruder’, Ryan became a favourite to win.

The couple appear to be taking a furry friend for a beach walk when they stop to sit on the grass and share a passionate kiss.

DOES CARLIN STERRITT WIN?
He’s rumoured to make the final two on The Bachelorette, and New Idea’s exclusive photos suggest Carlin Sterritt really is the one who wins Angie Kent’s heart.
The F45 trainer and actor, 30, was photographed at Sydney Airport, prompting speculation he was flown out to an exotic location to be chosen at the final rose ceremony.
And Carlin has already won over Angie’s tight-knit family.
The aspiring actor was even singled out by Angie’s dad Mark as a perfect pick for his daughter, explaining, “If we’re looking at wanting to settle down and have kids, I’d go for Carlin”.
