Amber Heard has successfully obtained a temporary restraining order against estranged husband Johnny Depp.
An LA judge granted the order after the 30-year-old claimed the Pirates of the Caribbean actor physically abused her several times.
A statement from Heard in support of the restraining order, claims Depp “began obsessing over something that wasn’t true” and “became extremely angry”, eventually throwing a phone at the actress, striking her cheek and eye.
Heard said that Depp “continued screaming at me, pulling my hair, striking me and violently grabbing my face”.
Heard was seen leaving an LA courthouse with a visible bruise on the right side of her face.
The order requires Depp to stay 100 yards away from Heard until a hearing next month.
The Rum Diary star filed for divorce from her hubby of just over a year earlier this week. The announcement comes only two days after Johnny received news of his mother’s passing.
Amber is said to have cited irreconcilable differences in her court documents.
