If you’re tired of losing those ice-bricks that you give your kids in their lunch boxes, then this hack is for you.
We’re back with a New Idea Hack that will show you how to make a simple DIY ice pack using a regular sponge!
New Idea has discovered a way to make a regular dish sponge into an ice pack!
All you need are sponges, water and zip-lock bags.

To make lunch-box sized ones, cut a large sponge in half, soak it in the water, and pop into a zip lock bag.
IMPORTANT: Don’t squeeze out the water! It’s needed later.

Use a whole size sponge to use for an esky.
Pop them in the freezer, and once they’re frozen, pop them into your lunch box or esky and you’re ready to go!
Super easy!
