He once admitted he was ‘pathetic’ in auditions, but Steve ‘Commando’ Willis has finally made his acting debut, appearing on Home And Away last week, and has told friends he hopes to make it big in Hollywood soon.
The Biggest Loser star uploaded the clip to Instagram and jokingly asked his fans if they thought he would make it as the ‘next Chris Hemsworth’.
The father-of-four certainly made an impressive appearance as a stern fitness trainer shaping up the police force on Home And Away.
The highlight of the clip sees Commando berating Jake Ryan’s character as he forces him to do more sit-ups.
According to sources, the star hopes to make it in the US: ‘Commando has been dreaming of making it in Hollywood for years now,’ says a source close to the fitness star. ‘He loves acting and becoming a huge action star would be his dream come true.
‘It’s been a long time since the world saw a new Arnold Schwarzenegger or Jean-Claude Van Damme, and Steve really thinks that this could be his chance to make it big. He knows Hollywood loves Aussies – Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe – so the appetite is there with movie bigwigs.
‘He’s really confident he has what it takes to make it. He really believes he’s the next Rock. Watch this space.’
