Twitter users were left scratching their heads in confusion last night after a series of bizarre tweets were posted from the Queen’s official Twitter account.
The official page, which has more than 3.86 million followers, shared a number of extremely odd questions and riddles including a fungi related query and ‘how many redundant letters are in the alphabet’.

Despite the bizarre line of questioning, the royal family account had actually not been hacked.
What may twitter users missed was the question preceding the three odd tweets, that explained they were a string of questions from the 1869 exam sat by nine pioneering women, who were the first to join the University of London.

According to The Sun, the questions were shared in honour of Princess Anne hosting an event at the university last night.
