Joel Moses didn’t fail to make an impression on Married At First Sight, and he’s certainly not done with his outspoken takes.
The model, 31, had an ill-fated marriage with Juliette Chae on the Channel Nine show, breaking up after a string of “toxic” arguments.
And there is certainly no love lost between the exes, as Joel went as far as to call Juliette “pure evil” in an exclusive chat with us.
Juliette has received huge public backlash for her explosive Dinner Party antics, with behind-the-scenes footage revealing she even planned to “villainise” Joel and turn the group against him.
When asked if he felt any sympathy for Juliette amid the onslaught of criticism, Joel proved he is still not on good terms with his ex, as he had some very choice words.

“Absolutely zero sympathy or empathy for Juliet, whatsoever, and I don’t think she deserves any from anyone, to be honest, because she’s evil,” he tells New Idea.
Reflecting on the shocking moment Juliette told him that he had “devil eyes”, Joel boldly said she must have been “looking in the mirror when she said that” and argued she never gave him a fair chance.
“She judged me from almost the first moment that she met me, and then she didn’t really warm to me that much,” he says.
“Like a little bit in the retreat, but apart from that, it was a total nightmare the whole time. You know, apart from a few days, maybe four or five days, it was an absolute disaster with her.”
So, would he have been better matched with another bride from the series? As far as Joel is concerned, no.
“None of them [are my type],” he insists.
But he wouldn’t rule out women from previous seasons of MAFS, gushing over one bride in particular.
“[Evelyn Ellis is] good fun. Good sense of humour,” he says of the 2023 bride. “Yeah, Evelyn is the hottest MAFS bride in history, and no one even comes close.”

Sadly for Joel, romantic sparks won’t be flying between him and Evelyn as she notably found love with her co-star Duncan James after filming, and they are still going strong after two years together.
However, Joel is confident he knows exactly what he’s looking for in a partner, so love might be just around the corner waiting for him!
“I was very, very, very certain of what I wanted in a future partner before I met Juliet, and now I still have the exact same amount of certainty,” he says.
“My dream woman is someone who does not add any additional problems to my life. She has to add value. She has to be innocent.
“She has to be sweet and loving and kind and generous and affectionate and maternal and soft and sweet and loving and feminine. That’s what I want from a woman.”
While Joel was far from finding love on MAFS, he doesn’t have any regrets about signing up for the experiment, describing it as “an absolute whirlwind in the best way possible”.

“I coped a lot of abuse from Juliet, but despite that, I had so much fun,” he insists.
“I made some friends for life, and I feel like I grew as a person, and you know it was all meant to be. It was all a wonderful experience.”
As for his infamous wedding speech, he doesn’t regret a single word either!
“If I could go back, I would write every single word exactly the same way,” he quips. “I thought my wedding vows and my speech were an absolute masterpiece.”
