A woman who knows her own mind – Queen Elizabeth II – has requested that the royal children be seated in a different room from the adults on Christmas Day, one senior royal has claimed according to Express.

Prince Edward, the Duke of Kent, wrote in the diary of Kenneth Rose that the Queen oversees everything, including food and seating plan and she doesn’t like to be disturbed by noisy children while she enjoys her Christmas dinner.
The former journalist and royal biographer used to write in his diaries about interesting conversations he had with royals, aides or politicians.
“Prince Eddie describes how the Queen plans the annual family Christmas lunch down to the last detail,” the entry on December 7 2007 reade.
“The grown-ups are in one big room, the children another.
“Towards the end of lunch, the doors are flung open and in rushes the horde.”
The diaries are being published following the death of Mr Rose in 2014.
This year, with drama continuing between “The Fab Four” – Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, Prince William and Kate Middleton – maybe the Queen will be forced to seperate them too?
It will be interesting on Remembrance Day – one of the most important days in the Royal Family’s calendar, with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and the Duke and Duchess Cambridge set to meet for the first time in months to attend the Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall in London on Saturday 9 November.
The couples were last seen together back in July, as both families were attending the King Power Royal Charity Polo Match with their children to watch Prince Harry and Prince William compete against each other for the Memorial Polo Trophy.
