Crown Princess Mary of Denmark was named captain of the Danish Home Guard on March 31st, and donned full military attire to her ceremony at Nymindegab Military school, Denmark.
Among the many royal guests invited to watch the parade of troops prior to Mary receiving her title of captain was Princess Mary’s mother-in-law, Queen Margrethe.
Dressed in full camo gear, Crown Princess Mary of Denmark was snapped sharing a joke with Queen Margrethe, who can be smiling and laughing with her son’s wife.

The Crown Princess was joined by some 500 troops for the anniversary which marks 70 years since the country’s Home Guard was established.
