Meghan Markle’s maternity leave is officially over.
The Duchess of Sussex has announced the end of her maternity leave with her first official royal engagement post giving birth to baby Archie Harrison on May 6.
The former Hollywood actress will be stepping out with close friend and fashion designer Misha Nonoo on Thursday, September 12, for the launch of their women’s workwear collection.

The collaboration will benefit charity Smart Works, an organisation that seeks to help women find employment by providing interview training and professional attire for job interviews.
According to PEOPLE, for every item of clothing bought from Meghan and Misha’s capsule collection another will then be donated to Meghan’s patronage, Smart Works.
In the September issue of British Vogue – which the Duchess guest-edited – Meghan wrote: “When you walk into a Smart Works space you’re met with racks of clothing and an array of bags and shoes.
“Sometimes, however, it can be a potpourri of mismatched sizes and colors [sic], not always the right stylistic choices or range of sizes.”
“To help with this, I asked Marks & Spencer, John Lewis & Partners, Jigsaw and my friends, the designer Mischa Nonoo, if they were willing to design a capsule collection of more classic options for a workwear wardrobe.”
Meghan continued: “Taking the idea further, many of the brands agreed to use the one-for-one model: for each item purchased by a customer, one is donated to the charity. Not only does this allow us to be part of each other’s story, it reminds us we are in it together.”
Meghan Markle shared an emotional behind-the-scenes video of her work with Smart Works on August 22.
The mum-of-one captioned the delightful video: “Sneak peek at the new Smart Works charity capsule collection shoot, ahead of the autumn launch,’
The caption continued: “An initiative supporting the Smart Works collective which will equip women entering the work force with the key work wear essentials they need… Coming soon.”
